Responsibilities
- Represent the Spain Hub as a technical thought leader at internal forums and external conferences, meetups, and partner summits.
- Connect global AI and technology initiatives with local engineering teams and translate strategy, tooling, and standards into practical adoption paths.
- Shape and pilot AI-driven software development lifecycle and spec-driven development patterns using tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and MCP.
- Influence full-stack and cloud-native modernization direction across AWS and Azure through architecture guidance, reference designs, and design reviews.
- Shape DevOps and DevSecOps direction, including infrastructure as code, container and Kubernetes platforms, security gates, and secure-by-design workflows.
- Align platform engineering, enterprise architecture, and development toolchains, including API management, observability, and MCP servers and catalogs.
- Run workshops, talks, and hands-on enablement sessions while coaching Tech Leads and building grassroots adoption.
- Develop Communities of Practice and Circles into authoritative technical communities with reusable assets and reference architectures.
- Track initiative adoption and impact using measures such as AI-enabled SDLC coverage, DORA metrics, security posture, and cloud cost and governance.
Requirements
- Senior or principal Solutions Architect or technical leadership experience with broad expertise across full-stack development, cloud, DevOps/security, and data/AI-ML.
- At least 7 years of software engineering or architecture experience spanning at least three relevant technical domains, including recent AI-assisted development exposure.
- Demonstrated technical thought leadership, public speaking, conference or meetup presentation, and technical content-writing experience.
- Ability to influence adoption without formal authority through persuasion, coaching, and technical credibility.
- Experience connecting global initiatives, standards, or programs with local or regional teams.
- Solid grounding in application and cloud security, DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, container/Kubernetes platforms, and security automation.
- Practical fluency with AI coding assistants and agentic development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and MCP-based tooling.
- Working knowledge of LLM and AI-ML fundamentals and the ability to design AI-driven workflows and assess AI/ML use cases.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps, Security, or ML certifications are advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and practical applications.
