Responsibilities
- Manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and public-sector customers in Israel.
- Act as a trusted advisor and recommend solutions focused on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Define and invent cloud-native reference architectures for varied use cases.
- Create and share technical content, best practices, white papers, code samples, blog posts, and reference architectures.
- Evangelize and educate customers about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, and conferences.
- Share customer needs internally to inform the AWS product roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent, or experience in technical engineering.
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience in cloud architecture, systems design, software development, infrastructure architecture, data engineering, DevOps, or generative AI.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew.
- Passion for technology and learning.
- Preferred experience in customer-facing roles or public speaking.
- Preferred experience designing, building, refactoring, or operating large-scale IT systems on premises or in the cloud.
- Knowledge of a modern programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Go, .NET, or Java, and/or scripting and infrastructure as code.
- In-depth knowledge of a technology domain such as distributed web or mobile applications, DevOps, serverless, big data, analytics, machine learning, generative AI, SAP, VMware, Windows, high-performance databases, complex networking, or highly secured workloads.
- Comfort presenting and whiteboarding with executives, IT managers, and developers.
