Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, scalable deployment solutions for Find My.
- Build tools and frameworks for distributed systems, automation, system diagnosis, and operational workflows.
- Develop and integrate scalable and reliable microservices and pub-sub architectures.
- Work with cloud architectures, Kubernetes, container runtimes, package management, and observability systems.
- Collaborate with product, SRE, and engineering teams across disciplines.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design and code reviews.
- Lead or manage enterprise-level projects and multifunctional engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of strong software development experience.
- Strong Java experience and ability to use Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tooling.
- Hands-on experience building and integrating microservices with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Hands-on experience with pub-sub architectures and technologies such as Kafka.
- At least 2 years of experience managing and working with AWS or GCP cloud architectures.
- At least 2 years of proficiency with Kubernetes architecture, container runtimes, and package management.
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, or similar observability tooling.
- Experience building tools or frameworks for system diagnosis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Working knowledge of network security, firewalls, encryption, IAM roles, and secret-management tools such as HashiCorp Vault.
- Experience using LLMs or AI tooling for operational automation and workflow optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Proven experience leading and managing enterprise-level projects or multifunctional engineering initiatives.
