Responsibilities
- Build and evolve automated regression tests for mobile applications and backend services, along with focused web end-to-end tests.
- Develop reusable testing frameworks, simulation tools, and test-data capabilities for complex workflows.
- Integrate automated checks into CI/CD pipelines and improve reliability, diagnostics, and feedback speed.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on testability, acceptance criteria, risk-based coverage, and quality ownership.
- Shape the QA automation roadmap and share reusable solutions and engineering practices across teams.
- Use defects and production insights to improve regression coverage and perform targeted exploratory testing.
- Evaluate AI-assisted tools for test development, maintenance, and failure investigation.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering and debugging skills with experience building maintainable test frameworks, libraries, or internal tooling.
- Proven experience owning and improving test automation from approach selection through reliability and adoption.
- Strong backend and API testing experience, including data validation, integrations, and asynchronous workflows.
- Practical experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD, diagnosing failures, and reducing flaky tests.
- Sound testing judgment and ability to balance risk, coverage, execution speed, and maintenance effort.
- Clear communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions across engineering and product teams.
- Experience with mobile test automation is particularly welcome; web UI automation and financial-services experience are additional advantages.
