Responsibilities
- Own the quality strategy and testing architecture for Flutter apps across mobile product teams.
- Partner with product teams to improve quality practices, close testing gaps, and enable confident releases.
- Grow and maintain reliable automated test suites using Appium and BrowserStack focused on critical user journeys.
- Maintain healthy test infrastructure by reducing flakiness, shortening test runs, and improving result quality.
- Build autonomous exploration, intelligent test orchestration, and self-directed AI-driven testing workflows from scratch.
- Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines and help engineering teams own product quality end-to-end.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing scalable testing strategies and hands-on expertise with Appium, Flutter integration testing, and BrowserStack.
- Practical experience using AI tools, LLM workflows, and testing agents for autonomous exploration, test generation, and defect analysis.
- A proven track record integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Strong focus on real-world user journeys, edge cases, product risk, and risk mitigation rather than code coverage alone.
- Strong English communication skills and the initiative to create solutions in ambiguous environments.
- German language skills, energy systems, IoT or climate-tech experience, native iOS/Android or deep Flutter/Dart architecture knowledge, and experience building testing tools are beneficial.
