Base Salary

$114k - $249k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop production-grade AI agents that automate software development lifecycle handoffs and workflows.
  • Build custom integrations, CLI tools, scaffolding, agent frameworks, templates, SDKs, and developer productivity tooling.
  • Architect and maintain infrastructure for agent deployment, lifecycle management, governance, permissions, communication, and scaling.
  • Create and govern a Model Context Protocol catalog for agent-to-agent and agent-to-MCP communication.
  • Design testing strategies, metrics, monitoring, logging, dashboards, alerting, anomaly detection, and observability systems for agents and development workflows.
  • Establish KPIs and analyze telemetry to measure automation impact, identify optimization opportunities, and guide investment decisions.
  • Identify AI-first SDLC opportunities, rapidly prototype solutions, validate use cases, and communicate data-driven findings.
  • Partner across teams to drive adoption of AI-powered tooling, coach colleagues, and mentor Software Engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, with at least seven years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience.
  • Strong experience in system design, object-oriented development, cloud technologies, data storage technologies, performance tuning and optimization, DevOps and CI/CD technologies, test automation and unit testing, and software security.
  • Full-stack technical proficiency with Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, Spring Boot, AWS, and monitoring or observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
  • Ability to make architectural trade-offs, identify high-impact automation opportunities, work through ambiguity and experimentation, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
  • Experience developing production-grade AI agents, orchestration frameworks, automation solutions, or related infrastructure is relevant to the role.
