Base Salary
$180k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop production-ready AI solutions, agentic workflows, applications, and supporting platform infrastructure.
- Design front-end and full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Vite, AWS services, WebSockets, and REST APIs.
- Build autonomous AI agents, RAG and Graph-RAG systems, MCP tools, evaluation pipelines, and engineering-focused AI applications.
- Design AWS-native data lakehouse infrastructure, canonical engineering data models, schema governance, data lineage, CDC pipelines, and enterprise-system integrations.
- Build and operate Docker-based applications, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Terraform-managed AWS infrastructure, monitoring, observability, release automation, and incident-response capabilities.
- Document architectures and integration patterns, support technical reviews and prototypes, and collaborate with engineering, licensing, quality, and internal customer teams.
- Apply nuclear-quality, regulatory, export-control, security, and data-governance requirements to delivered systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Systems Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
- Typically ten years of relevant software engineering experience, including experience in at least one listed specialization track.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, CI/CD, Jira, Confluence, and AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
- Track A applicants need experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Vite, Bun, Tailwind CSS, WebSockets, REST APIs, and AWS web-application deployment.
- Track B applicants need experience with LLMs, agentic architectures, AWS Bedrock or comparable frameworks, RAG or Graph-RAG, TypeScript, Python, and AI evaluation methods or pipelines.
- Track C applicants need experience with data lakes or lakehouses, ETL, AWS data services, open table formats, canonical data models, schema governance, enterprise engineering-system integrations, identity federation, and engineering data formats.
- Track D applicants need experience with Docker, GitLab CI/CD administration, AWS, ECS, ECR, VPC, Terraform, AWS data services, release automation, monitoring, observability, Linux or macOS command-line environments, and container orchestration.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in nuclear, aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries; digital engineering and MBSE; PLM and requirements-system integration; graph databases; AWS GovCloud; FedRAMP; export controls; MCP; and relevant quality or professional certifications.
- Ability to work collaboratively, communicate complex technical concepts, exercise independent judgment, and work hybrid Tuesday through Thursday in the office.
