Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-quality Salesforce and Java software solutions.
- Build and maintain Salesforce integrations with Java services and downstream systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and asynchronous patterns.
- Develop enterprise Java applications, including backend processing, batch jobs, scheduled jobs, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Perform code reviews, promote secure coding and unit testing practices, and support CI/CD and release management.
- Provide technical leadership across Salesforce and Java stacks, guide team members, and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage risks, strengthen controls, and contribute to technology policies, procedures, and governance.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, governor limits, and security models.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, asynchronous patterns, and SQL-based databases.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 or above, including object-oriented programming, collections, exception handling, JVM concepts, multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Experience building enterprise Java applications, preferably with Spring or Spring Boot.
- Understanding of end-to-end system integration, RESTful service design, integration patterns, data synchronization, batch processing, and scheduled jobs.
- Experience with Salesforce CI/CD and DevOps practices, Git, automated deployments, and release management.
- Experience with OmniStudio, including FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures, is strongly preferred.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, mentoring, and prioritization skills.
- Prior experience in investment banking or financial services is desirable.
