Responsibilities
- Lead and drive architecture for new product development and scalable real-time systems.
- Supervise and coach multiple software engineering teams and guide them on development standards and delivery.
- Provide strategic technology leadership for applications, systems, and software-development methodologies.
- Coordinate projects across internal groups, teams, and international locations.
- Maintain and present project metrics for senior management review.
- Recommend strategic engineering direction and address operational or business issues affecting service delivery.
- Promote information security policies, confidentiality, breach reporting, and mandatory security training.
Requirements
- Expertise in Java and the Spring Framework, including application development with Spring Boot.
- Experience with end-to-end solution and product architecture and complex systems.
- Strong software design and architecture experience from conceptualization through implementation.
- Experience developing online, real-time applications.
- Expert understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
- Strong technology leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and ability to guide teams toward effective solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD and quality initiatives.
- Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Digital Native Architecture, and microservices is desirable.
- Applied knowledge of AI and scalable implementations is desirable.
