Base Salary
$172k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software systems, availability platforms, and frameworks for managing physical and cloud infrastructure.
- Build reliable, scalable, secure, and efficient distributed systems and cloud architectures for production use.
- Develop deployment, configuration management, operational, interface, and automation tooling.
- Create workflows that improve infrastructure planning, management, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development and operations teams to integrate and deploy platform capabilities.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges and contribute to system reliability, scalability, and security.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team growth in collaboration with engineering managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- At least 5 years of experience building and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Proven experience building and running reliable, scalable, efficient, and secure cloud platforms and systems in production.
- Fluency in one or more of Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and the ability to implement secure configurations.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment and interest in scalable AI infrastructure, sustainability, and clean energy are beneficial.
