Base Salary
$150k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain shared infrastructure and platform capabilities across cloud and edge environments.
- Build automation and self-service tooling to improve engineering velocity and operational consistency.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code, deployment workflows, and environment provisioning.
- Partner with engineering teams on production readiness, including reliability, security, observability, scalability, and recovery.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, incident response, and operational tooling across distributed environments.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks and reduce infrastructure complexity.
- Help define platform architecture, engineering standards, and technical roadmaps.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for systems owned by the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, Production Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong experience building and operating production systems across cloud, on-premises, or edge environments.
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, networking, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and deployment automation.
- Experience with CI/CD and modern observability practices.
- Strong software development and automation skills, preferably in Python or a similar language.
- Strong understanding of security, reliability, and production operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems across application, infrastructure, network, and hardware boundaries.
- Preferred experience building internal developer platforms or self-service infrastructure.
- Preferred experience with secrets management, identity, PKI, infrastructure security, highly available systems, distributed databases, production data infrastructure, and architecture and production-readiness collaboration.
