Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, monitor, operate, and maintain rider experience components end to end.
- Write reliable, performant, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage.
- Reduce technical debt and improve tooling and code structure.
- Analyze systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions while sharing knowledge across the team.
- Produce technical specifications, runbooks, and documentation covering requirements, security, and privacy.
- Rotate on-call, monitor production systems, fix bugs, maintain dashboards and alerts, and support production incidents.
- Collaborate with product, design, data science, analytics, QA, TPM, and operations teams.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3 years of software engineering industry experience.
- Experience with Kotlin.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose, declarative UI development, and creating shared components.
- Ability to explain the reasoning behind technical decisions and work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Side projects or open-source contributions are a bonus.
