Base Salary
$135k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, test, integrate, and deploy mission-critical full-stack software for command and control of multimodal autonomous systems
- Integrate autonomy command-and-control solutions with the Palantir platform and AI and autonomy software, including sensor and data-fusion services, agentic decision-making engines, and robotic control systems
- Deploy and operate software in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid-cloud environments while addressing integration, security, deployment, and user-experience challenges
- Partner with experts in sensing and fusion, artificial intelligence, systems engineering, user experience, hardware, and robotics to deliver integrated solutions
- Develop production systems that support operational and tactical mission profiles
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience
- At least 2 years of experience integrating and deploying software to edge or autonomous systems such as drones, self-driving systems, or on-premises/edge servers
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Rust, or Java
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React
- Experience with software deployment, continuous integration, automation tools, APIs and documentation, networking, security and authentication, and Linux/GNU
- Experience deploying and maintaining robust production systems
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or significant relevant work experience
- Active U.S. security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one
- Ability to travel 25–75%, depending on location and team
- Experience with user-facing full-stack systems is preferred; experience developing interfaces for graphical, textual, or verbal AI and large generative models is helpful
- Knowledge of continuous integration, streaming or real-time data, design, and front-end development is helpful
