Responsibilities
- Act as a hands-on product builder and visible technical leader across the engineering community.
- Drive tactical implementation of Product Ecosystem strategies and own its scalable, secure, and maintainable architecture.
- Design solution architectures for backend and frontend projects in collaboration with Enterprise Architects and engineers.
- Build cloud-based data and analytics solutions, including Agentic AI solutions for real business use cases.
- Guide engineering practices including Agile at Scale, Lean, CI/CD, TDD, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Review designs and technical decisions, provide constructive feedback, and maintain engineering quality standards.
- Oversee technical delivery across teams while guiding Lead and Senior Software Engineers and supporting their development.
- Facilitate collaboration, track progress against engineering goals, and communicate status to engineering and management stakeholders.
- Research technologies and contribute to engineering strategy, thought leadership, and continuous improvement.
- Apply appropriate governance and lifecycle considerations to ML/AI solutions and Agentic AI implementations.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Romanian and English.
- Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Engineer working across multiple products and readiness to operate at Architect level.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders in cross-functional environments.
- Experience delivering software across a broad mix of languages, technologies, and platforms.
- Strong leadership, people, coaching, mentoring, and collaborative team-building skills.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and modern engineering practices, including Agile at Scale, Lean, Continuous Delivery, CI, TDD, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, DevOps, and Quality Gates.
- Experience with security-driven design and remediation of SAST/DAST findings.
- Strong SDLC knowledge and experience with Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or equivalent tools.
- Experience designing and deploying applications on AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience architecting data and analytics platforms covering data warehousing, data engineering and orchestration, streaming, BI and reporting, and integration platforms.
- Strong understanding of data warehouses, data lakes/lakehouses, ETL/ELT, streaming, semantic modeling, and BI architecture.
- Practical experience with ML/AI solution architecture, model lifecycle, deployment patterns, governance, and Agentic AI solutions.
- In-depth programming experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#, plus Angular, .NET, Less/Sass, and gRPC.
- Strong unit testing and integration testing discipline.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong engineering fundamentals in refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous integration, system and application design, and application security.
- Experience with ORM frameworks and databases including MSSQL/T-SQL and MongoDB.
- RabbitMQ and MassTransit experience is desirable.
