Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain performance assessment solutions for responsiveness across Windows devices.
- Analyze performance regressions and non-deterministic behavior across systems, applications, storage, memory, and I/O.
- Define performance metrics, measurement methodologies, and reporting standards for validation environments.
- Drive adoption of AI-powered solutions for scalable performance root-cause analysis.
- Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews.
- Support engineering excellence through documentation, code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with Windows debugging and performance analysis.
- Understanding of performance management, measurement, boot and startup flow, scheduling, and memory, storage, and I/O latency.
- Experience diagnosing non-deterministic or flaky measurement results independently.
- Hands-on experience with WPR/WPA, Xperf, and ETW trace capture and analysis is preferred.
- Familiarity with ADK/WAT assessments and the Performance Toolkit SDK and WPA plugin model is preferred.
- Understanding of Windows OS internals and performance validation concepts is preferred.
- AI tools and data analytical skills are preferred.
- Experience collaborating with OEM or IHV partners is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills in Mandarin and English.
