Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain performance assessment solutions that evaluate responsiveness across Windows devices.
  • Analyze system, storage, memory, application, and platform performance data to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Define performance metrics, measurement methodologies, and reporting standards for validation environments.
  • Drive AI-powered solutions for scalable performance root cause analysis.
  • Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews.
  • Contribute to documentation, code reviews, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and engineering excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
  • Coding experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills in Mandarin and English.
  • Preferred qualifications include Windows debugging, performance measurement, startup flow, scheduling, memory/storage/I/O latency analysis, and diagnosing non-deterministic measurement results.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with WPR/WPA, Xperf, ETW trace capture and analysis, ADK/WAT assessments, the Performance Toolkit SDK, and the WPA plugin model.
  • Preferred understanding of Windows OS internals, performance validation, AI tools, data analytics, and collaboration with OEM/IHV partners.
