Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications using pages, forms, reports, master-detail forms, and interactive grids.
- Implement business logic with PL/SQL and SQL and create and optimize database objects, queries, and backend processes.
- Design and consume REST APIs and JSON integrations and configure APEX REST Data Sources.
- Build responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Perform debugging, testing, performance tuning, and secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, production-ready applications.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience is required.
- Oracle APEX 23.x or higher experience is required.
- Strong PL/SQL and SQL expertise is required.
- Experience with Oracle SQL Developer, REST APIs, JSON, ORDS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and APEX architecture and foundations is required.
- Hands-on experience developing enterprise APEX and database-driven applications is expected.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT, or equivalent, and 15 years of full-time education are stated.
- Preferred qualifications include OAuth/JWT integration experience, exposure to OCI or cloud platforms with generative AI capabilities, CI/CD and DevOps for APEX, and application security knowledge.
