Responsibilities

  • Own a project from coding and testing through production deployment and presentation.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and take responsibility for the quality of shipped work, including AI-assisted code.
  • Debug issues, follow escalation procedures, and support reliable systems for high-stakes legal users.
  • Collaborate through code reviews, pair programming, design reviews, technical documentation, and product discussions.
  • Depending on team placement, work on document retrieval, AI interfaces, multi-region infrastructure, enterprise agents, secure systems, or frontier-model evaluation.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with graduation in December 2027 or later.
  • Previous internship experience is required; early-stage startup internship experience is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more of Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Go, or a similar language, along with solid computer science fundamentals.
  • Must be able to work from the Toronto office during the winter cohort based on academic schedule.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted development tools and interest in incorporating LLMs into software development workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to build projects from start to finish, communicate complex technical ideas clearly, act decisively, and incorporate feedback.

Benefits

  • 12- or 16-week Winter 2027 internship in Toronto.
  • Relocation support is available.
  • Pay is $45/hr-$55/hr in Toronto.
