Responsibilities
- Own and contribute to the architecture and development of enterprise Java applications.
- Develop client- and server-side applications using Java, Java EE/Jakarta EE, Eclipse RCP, SWT, JFace, and WildFly.
- Design and optimize backend services, data models, integration logic, and high-performance processing solutions.
- Modernize legacy forensic systems and support modular system design and decomposition.
- Define software architecture and apply object-oriented design, design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Code practices.
- Develop and maintain Git-based CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and automated build, deployment, and release processes.
- Ensure code quality, test coverage, performance, scalability, production stability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical guidance, onboarding, training, knowledge transfer, and capability development across distributed teams.
- Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, architecture, business, and IT stakeholders across international delivery centers.
Requirements
- MCA or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in Java-based software development on global or enterprise projects.
- Extensive experience in enterprise Java development and DevOps practices, with 10+ years preferred in the description.
- Proven experience in software architecture, hands-on development, and product development environments.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Java EE/Jakarta EE, Eclipse RCP, SWT, JFace, PostgreSQL, WildFly, JPA/Hibernate, JPQL, CriteriaBuilder, Git, Azure DevOps, Docker, Maven, and Eclipse Tycho.
- Understanding of product development lifecycles and Lean Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Experience in regulated or complex operational environments such as forensics or LIMS is preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, learning, and continuous-improvement abilities.
