Responsibilities
- Own and contribute to architecture and development of enterprise Java applications.
- Provide technical guidance on design and implementation across distributed teams.
- Develop client- and server-side applications using Java, Java EE/Jakarta EE, Eclipse RCP, SWT, JFace, and WildFly.
- Modernize legacy forensic systems and design modular, scalable, maintainable platforms.
- Design and optimize backend services, data models, and high-performance processing logic using PostgreSQL, JPA/Hibernate, JPQL, and CriteriaBuilder.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and automated build, deployment, and release processes.
- Ensure code quality, test coverage, performance, production stability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, architecture, business, and IT stakeholders across international delivery teams.
- Support team mobilization, onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- MCA or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of hands-on Java-based software development experience on global or enterprise projects.
- Extensive enterprise Java development and DevOps experience, including architecture and hands-on implementation.
- Experience in product development environments and regulated or complex operational domains such as forensics or LIMS.
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and Lean Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in Java, Java EE/Jakarta EE, Eclipse RCP, SWT, JFace, PostgreSQL, WildFly, JPA/Hibernate, JPQL, CriteriaBuilder, Git, Azure DevOps, Docker, Maven, and Eclipse Tycho.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, learning mindset, and continuous-improvement orientation.
