Responsibilities
- Set up and manage CloudWatch metrics, dashboards, alarms, and log monitoring.
- Build end-to-end observability for high-availability systems.
- Implement AWS security policies, IAM configuration, and CloudTrail auditing.
- Support cloud environments using a broad range of AWS services.
- Contribute to automated CI/CD pipelines and testing workflows.
- Improve cloud security, operational practices, and automated development and deployment processes.
- Work with AWS networking components such as VPCs, routing, security groups, and load balancers.
Requirements
- AWS Developer Associate certification or equivalent hands-on AWS experience.
- Strong production experience working with AWS services.
- Good understanding of CloudWatch and cloud observability concepts.
- Practical experience with AWS IAM, CloudTrail, and cloud security measures.
- Familiarity with securing high-traffic, mission-critical platforms.
- Comfort with automated CI/CD practices and cloud-based testing.
- Awareness of AWS networking fundamentals such as VPCs and routing is preferred.
- Very good command of German for project communication.
