Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of full-stack applications using industry best practices and modern technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
- Ensure code quality and performance through comprehensive testing and debugging.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to BNY's technology strategy.
- Stay current with industry trends and integrate technologies that advance engineering capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Typically 5–9 years of progressive software development experience with a strong focus on full-stack engineering.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks with demonstrated full-stack expertise.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor team members.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and DevOps practices is a plus.
