Responsibilities
- Lead major projects and multi-component initiatives across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and launch.
- Develop technical and functional solutions based on business, product, and domain needs.
- Own projects end-to-end, create project plans, define milestones, and break epics into implementable work.
- Design and optimize database solutions, data-access patterns, performance, and reliability at scale.
- Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, remediation, and operational improvements for production systems.
- Lead code reviews, uphold coding and quality standards, improve processes, and reduce toil.
- Own system-level design, infrastructure understanding, integrations, and cross-system dependencies.
- Coordinate with partner teams and stakeholders to resolve dependencies and align technical outcomes.
- Mentor engineers, contribute to hiring, and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
- Use AI coding tools and agentic coding assistants effectively across the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience, including production-system ownership and technical leadership on multi-component initiatives.
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, TypeScript, NestJS, and Node.js.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, Apache Kafka or other event-processing services, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with React.js or Angular and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, observability tools, testing strategies, API design, Git, and code review practices.
- Strong technical judgment, system-design, troubleshooting, stakeholder-management, written, verbal, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Python, Databricks, and AWS or Azure Developer certification is preferred.
