Responsibilities
- Design security architecture and validation frameworks for agentic platforms, including prompt-injection resilience and data-flow constraints.
- Design technical standards and automated workflows for vulnerability auto-mitigation aligned with global SLO timelines.
- Architect automated access-control systems, integration templates, and data-flow constraints to prevent access abuse and data exfiltration.
- Align technical architectures with central security design standards and serve as the primary design conduit to central infrastructure.
- Create precise technical designs for the Operational Engineering Build team to implement in software.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of experience in security engineering, threat modeling, systems design, and security architecture.
- Three years of coding experience, such as with C++, Java, Go, or Python.
- Experience designing security controls for teams with operational systems and cloud infrastructure deployment.
- Experience developing, deploying, and monitoring security policies with centralized security functions.
- Preferred: experience architecting enterprise-scale security tools, access-control systems, or observability platforms.
- Preferred: familiarity with Google's central security infrastructure, including Ganpati, MDB groups, Zanzibar, or S2.
- Preferred: deep technical understanding of Large Language Models, AI security risks such as prompt injection and data poisoning, and deterministic security harnesses.
- Preferred: ability to influence senior engineering partners on critical design decisions.
