Responsibilities
- Improve services across their lifecycle from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Develop cloud governance, protection, auditing, monitoring, remediation, and reporting solutions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance scalable software and tooling for cloud environments.
- Use authorized AI capabilities for threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, security documentation, and security testing while validating outputs and protecting sensitive data.
- Perform system design and code reviews and apply secure engineering, resiliency, traceability, and auditability practices.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Lead stakeholder interactions and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience developing and architecting cloud-native applications using AWS, including Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, and EKS.
- Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Enterprise software development experience using multiple programming languages, preferably Python.
- CI/CD experience with tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
- Ability to validate AI-assisted code and security recommendations and ensure alignment with security, resiliency, and auditability expectations.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, independent-work, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include cybersecurity knowledge, experience with Azure, GCP, or other public cloud environments, and cloud certifications such as AWS Developer Associate or AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
