Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the development of backend systems for Verkada's security products.
- Collaborate with mobile and frontend engineers to enhance product features.
- Drive technical direction and project execution within the team.
- Architect scalable systems and design latency-sensitive applications.
- Own backend systems end-to-end, ensuring high-quality delivery.
Requirements
- 4+ years of industry backend software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a backend engineer in a startup or innovative company.
- Proven ability to drive technical direction and lead project execution.
- Deep expertise in relational databases, with Postgres experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python or GoLang.
- Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
- Must be willing to work onsite five days a week.
