Base Salary

$101k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and execute systematic software test plans, test cases, test suites, and validation procedures.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for regression coverage and efficient test execution.
  • Validate end-to-end workflows, system performance, interoperability, multi-system integrations, data flows, and web service/API calls.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and containerized test environments.
  • Debug complex software defects, perform root cause analysis, and document corrective actions and verification records.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and operational stakeholders on acceptance criteria, design reviews, code reviews, testability, and quality improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field plus 3+ years of relevant experience; or a relevant master’s degree plus 2+ years; or a relevant Ph.D. with no prior professional experience.
  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
  • Experience developing test automation and scripts using Python, Bash, or equivalent languages.
  • Hands-on experience debugging complex software stacks through root cause analysis, log analysis, and defect isolation.
  • Experience testing web services/APIs and communication mechanisms across distributed or interconnected systems.
  • Knowledge of unit, integration, functional, regression, and performance testing methodologies.
  • Preferred experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker, Jira, semiconductor manufacturing software, EDA/layout processing tools, platform software, Linux, or Windows.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
