Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and implement quantitative safety and comfort metrics for autonomous vehicle algorithm modules.
- Translate operational design domains and failure modes into automatable validation criteria.
- Build, execute, and maintain open-loop and closed-loop SIL/HIL simulation test suites.
- Analyze simulation outputs, distinguish software regressions from simulation artifacts, and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop production-grade Python scripts and extend testing frameworks for test execution, data ingestion, and statistical reporting.
- Integrate automated regression suites into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.
- Establish reproducible testing practices with artifact hygiene, dependency management, and quantitative validation.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience authoring scenarios and executing test cases in SIL or HIL simulation platforms.
- Deep knowledge of autonomous vehicle stack architecture, including perception, prediction, motion planning, control, failure modes, and physical constraints.
- Experience defining and evaluating kinematic and spatial metrics across large datasets using statistical analysis.
- Strong Python development skills for data processing, test automation, and test framework creation.
- Practical experience with automated build and test pipelines, such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and visualization tools such as Grafana or custom dashboards.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical or Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred familiarity with OpenDRIVE, Lanelet2, OSM, OpenSCENARIO, spatial and geometry data pipelines, computational geometry, CARLA, SQL, relational databases, crash databases, and automotive safety standards.
