Base Salary
$144k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale distributed systems and infrastructure services for LLM inference.
- Manage and optimize GPU fleets for low-latency machine learning inference workloads at very large scale.
- Deliver features from design through production deployment with senior engineers and scientists.
- Set standards and support operational excellence for Tier-1 production services.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with Alexa and AWS partner teams, including Bedrock, on cross-functional projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve service performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs, Neuron, TPU, or other AI acceleration hardware.
