Base Salary

$128k - $184k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain distribution platforms that support Google products distributed through partners.
  • Drive feature changes using data-driven analysis of large datasets covering user behavior.
  • Optimize front-end code and tools to meet user needs and ensure correctness.
  • Identify, recommend, and prioritize new web features and applications with business leaders and product managers.
  • Conduct user research and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-team stakeholders to optimize user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
  • Four years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
  • Experience with front-end languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with backend languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Experience with database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL.
  • Preferred: master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Preferred: four years of experience designing and optimizing distributed applications.
  • Preferred: two years of experience collaborating with team and business stakeholders on project requirements.
  • Preferred: experience with unit testing, agile software development, and bug and change management systems.
  • Preferred: experience designing and building maintainable APIs, especially using Protocol Buffers.

Benefits

  • 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits are included in the compensation package.
  • The listed US base salary range is $128,000–$184,000.
