Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy resilient backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build performant, responsive, and accessible frontends using React and TypeScript.
- Create centralized tools that aggregate customer risk data across financial crime topologies.
- Develop reusable risk-mitigation components and scalable workflows for servicing agents.
- Design platform solutions that help product teams scale compliance and servicing operations.
- Own the product journey from identifying problems and planning execution through production release.
- Design and implement distributed and concurrent systems while considering architectural tradeoffs.
Requirements
- Strong engineering experience, ideally with Java and familiarity with Spring Boot.
- Experience deploying and maintaining scalable backend services in cloud-based environments.
- Experience building performant, responsive web applications with React and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of clean, scalable, testable code, test coverage, the test pyramid, and code reviews.
- Experience designing and implementing distributed and concurrent systems, including stateful/stateless and synchronous/asynchronous architectures.
- Ability to break complex projects into incremental milestones that deliver customer value.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences and distributed cross-functional peers.
