Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and oversee highly available, secure, and scalable Azure architectures across compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
- Define enterprise Azure reference architectures, governance standards, policies, monitoring frameworks, and development best practices.
- Establish Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform and ARM templates and guide automated CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Provide architectural oversight for Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Kubernetes Service deployment models.
- Lead migration planning for on-premises workloads and develop hybrid connectivity and cloud-native modernization strategies.
- Serve as the technical authority for Azure architecture and provide guidance to DevOps, cloud engineering, and development teams.
- Communicate architecture strategies, tradeoffs, and roadmaps to government stakeholders, ACIOs, and program leadership.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and a current or previous Public Trust designation are required.
- At least five years of experience designing and implementing Azure cloud architectures, including identity, governance, compute, storage, networking, hybrid connectivity, policy, and monitoring.
- At least five years of Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and ARM templates.
- At least five years of Azure-focused DevOps experience involving deployment automation and pipeline development.
- Experience architecting CI/CD strategies with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Experience designing cloud migration strategies and converting on-premises workloads into cloud-native architectures.
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Autopilot, Intune, Microsoft 365, Office 365, SharePoint, Exchange, and OneDrive.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Microsoft Azure certifications, federal cloud environment experience, compliance framework experience, and enterprise cloud transformation leadership are preferred.
