Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of continuous integration and delivery pipelines from Jenkins to Harness.
- Automate software builds, deployments, and AWS infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CLI/API.
- Design, provision, and maintain highly available AWS infrastructure, including EKS, RDS, S3, and ElastiCache.
- Use Docker and Kubernetes to manage containerized workloads.
- Build self-service developer tooling and support R&D software teams with deployment troubleshooting and dependency upgrades.
- Improve observability, telemetry, and alerting using Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain platform availability after a three-month onboarding runway.
Requirements
- Proven experience running production systems on AWS through the CLI or API.
- Experience building modular infrastructure with Terraform.
- Strong practical experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes management, including EKS.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, Git workflows, and build and release automation using Jenkins, Harness, or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language: Python, Go, or Bash.
- Experience migrating CI/CD platforms to Harness is preferred.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud architectures using GCP or Azure is preferred.
- Experience configuring Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK telemetry stacks is preferred.
