Responsibilities
- Migrate continuous integration and delivery pipelines from Jenkins to Harness.
- Automate software builds and deployments for R&D teams.
- Design, provision, and maintain highly available AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Maintain Infrastructure-as-Code compliance across platforms.
- Support application development teams through the Ask Infrastructure channel.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues, upgrade dependencies, and promote DevOps practices across engineering teams.
- Build and maintain observability, telemetry, and alerting with Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.
- Participate in the platform on-call rotation after a three-month onboarding runway.
Requirements
- Proven experience running production systems on AWS through CLI/API and building modular infrastructure with Terraform.
- Strong practical experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes management, including EKS.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, Git workflows, and build/release automation using Jenkins, Harness, or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language: Python, Go, or Bash.
- Experience migrating CI/CD platforms to Harness is a nice-to-have.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud architectures using GCP or Azure is a nice-to-have.
- Experience configuring Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK telemetry stacks is a nice-to-have.
