Responsibilities
- Design complex ServiceNow Now Platform infrastructure solutions aligned with enterprise standards and business objectives.
- Translate infrastructure and service requirements into ServiceNow platform architectures with cross-functional teams.
- Develop reusable ServiceNow application components and custom applications to automate workflows and reduce manual work.
- Configure ServiceNow infrastructure-related modules for incident response, change management, asset tracking, and data quality.
- Implement ServiceNow integrations with on-premise and cloud-based systems using APIs and web services.
- Establish ServiceNow infrastructure design standards, architecture patterns, governance controls, and audit trails.
- Identify opportunities for automation and self-service through custom applications and catalog items.
- Monitor and tune ServiceNow solution performance, configurations, queries, and data models.
- Guide project teams through ServiceNow requirements, configuration, testing, and deployment practices.
- Prepare technical documentation for architectures, data models, integrations, and operational runbooks.
- Coordinate ServiceNow platform upgrades and feature adoption initiatives.
- Use analytics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement of ServiceNow-based solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in enterprise infrastructure environments.
- 12–15 years of experience in infrastructure architecture roles focused on large-scale enterprise implementations.
- Advanced hands-on expertise with the ServiceNow Now Platform, including core-module configuration, scripting, and custom application development.
- Strong experience with modular design, secure coding, testing strategies, and deployment automation on ServiceNow.
- Experience designing integration solutions using APIs, web services, and data exchange mechanisms between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Strong understanding of compute, storage, network, and cloud infrastructure domains and their mapping to ServiceNow data models and workflows.
- Preferred experience working in hybrid environments with globally distributed teams using agile or iterative delivery approaches.
- Preferred exposure to observability tools, configuration management databases, and asset management practices integrated with ServiceNow.
- Preferred experience implementing compliant workflows, access controls, and audit-ready ServiceNow configurations with security and risk teams.
- Preferred experience mentoring peers on ServiceNow architecture patterns, coding standards, and platform capabilities.
- Preferred familiarity with IT service management frameworks and enterprise architecture practices.
- Preferred ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certifications.
