Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications.
- Write and maintain end-to-end automated tests using Playwright or similar frameworks.
- Perform manual and automated testing to assess software quality, performance, and user experience.
- Identify, document, track, and help resolve software defects.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Continuously improve QA processes, testing frameworks, and best practices.
- Use AI tools responsibly as an assistant rather than a replacement for human-authored and human-understood code.
- Stay current with emerging QA tools and industry trends.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of QA experience, including hands-on work with end-to-end automation frameworks.
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Maestro, Appium, or Selenium, with Playwright preferred.
- Basic to intermediate coding experience in JavaScript, Ruby, Python, or a similar language.
- Experience with GitHub or similar version control tools.
- Experience writing clear bug reports, reproduction steps, test cases, and root cause analyses.
- Experience working on projects throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience using JIRA or similar bug-tracking or project-management tools.
- Strong written and oral English communication skills at a minimum B2 level.
- Preferred experience with Postman or API testing, fintech or regulated software environments, and small agile QA teams.
