Responsibilities
- Build and maintain end-to-end automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Develop acceptance and UI tests for the OLP core-banking platform.
- Translate customer journeys and acceptance criteria into test scenarios and identify edge cases.
- Determine which testing activities should be automated and improve automation effectiveness, reliability, and maintainability.
- Use AI to design tests, implement automation, and investigate failures while validating the quality of its output.
- Investigate complex problems across user interfaces, APIs, logs, and events to distinguish product defects from test or environment issues.
- Test distributed, event-driven systems, including asynchronous behavior, data consistency, and interactions between services.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in testing and quality engineering.
- Ability to exercise testing judgment, identify meaningful scenarios, and evaluate what is worth automating.
- Creative approach to automation and inventive problem-solving.
- Ability to use AI effectively by providing context, guiding it through unfamiliar systems, and critically evaluating its output.
- Ability to understand and review automation code.
- Understanding of testing distributed, event-driven systems, including asynchronous behavior, data consistency, and service interactions.
- Prior expertise with Playwright and TypeScript is welcome but not required.
