Responsibilities

  • Implement platform software for middleware and infrastructure.
  • Contribute independently to software architecture, design, and reviews.
  • Own and execute core middleware and infrastructure modules.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain automotive software components.
  • Analyze customer requirements and change requests.
  • Debug embedded software using tools such as GDB and JTAG.
  • Help ramp up new recruits on technical topics.

Requirements

  • B-Tech/BE degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in embedded software.
  • At least 3 years of experience with automotive and IVI systems.
  • Expertise in C++ and C++11, including design patterns and the Android Framework.
  • Awareness of Android HAL and AOSP architecture.
  • Experience with embedded application firmware development.
  • Excellent debugging skills and the ability to read hardware block diagrams and schematics.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to requirements reviews and customer change-request analysis.
  • Java exposure is an added advantage.
