Responsibilities
- Define system architecture and design for Android-based automotive infotainment applications and frameworks.
- Develop infotainment features using Android Automotive OS, AOSP, and HAL layers.
- Implement and enhance Vehicle HAL functionality for in-vehicle features.
- Customize Android framework components for OEM-specific infotainment requirements.
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure feature stability and performance.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams, embedded engineers, and global stakeholders on feature delivery.
- Diagnose and resolve system-level issues across software and hardware interfaces.
- Contribute to AI-enabled infotainment applications and cloud-connected experiences.
- Lead Android infotainment development and drive delivery across infotainment platforms.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience is required.
- At least 4 years of experience in the automotive infotainment domain is required in the additional information.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, or a related field is required.
- Strong expertise in Android Automotive OS, AOSP, and HAL integration.
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, with familiarity with C++ for native components.
- Experience with Android 14 and Vehicle HAL functionality.
- Experience with audio/video frameworks, in-cabin controls, navigation, voice, or vehicle data monitoring.
- Experience with infotainment hardware setups and cloud platforms.
- Experience developing Android applications with AI/ML capabilities.
- Exposure to global automotive markets and infotainment regulatory standards.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and DevOps pipelines.
