Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement telecom components, applications, and services.
- Build accessible, scalable solutions that work across devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with satellite, networks, security, backend commerce, product, UX, marketing, and business teams.
- Use generative AI tools and agentic development workflows to accelerate delivery and identify AWS-based infrastructure improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and coach teammates on front-end practices, UI design patterns, and maintainable coding standards.
- Write documentation and train new team members on software construction, testing, and operation.
- Investigate operational metrics and resolve rendering and performance issues.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees due to export-control requirements.
