Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement commerce applications and services for Amazon Leo’s satellite connectivity customer experience.
- Build accessible, scalable solutions that work across devices and browsers in collaboration with product, UX, marketing, and backend teams.
- Use generative AI tools, agentic development workflows, and AWS native services to accelerate delivery and improve infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews and coach teammates on best practices, design patterns, and maintainable coding standards.
- Write software documentation, train new team members, and drive root-cause resolution for operational issues.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
