Responsibilities
- Validate the build and test environment and complete a minor bug investigation and fix for a Nintendo product.
- Enhance the CLI debugger experience, including command usability, output, scripting, automation, and engineer ergonomics.
- Build and improve the VS Code Debug Adapter for a modern, extensible editor experience.
- Investigate and improve debugging performance and reliability across CLI and adapter paths.
Requirements
- Have solid programming ability, strong software engineering fundamentals, and willingness to learn and transfer skills.
- Ideally have C/C++ experience; C# experience is a plus.
- Experience with low-level ELF/COFF file formats and familiarity with LLDB/GDB are beneficial.
- Familiarity with the VS Code extension and debug-adapter ecosystem is a plus but not required.
- Be a rising senior pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrate effective communication, strong writing skills, and the ability to work in a small, dynamic team.
- Be available for full-time work during Summer 2027 and legally eligible to work in the United States.
