Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java back-end applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Build responsive and accessible React front-end interfaces with reusable components and state management.
- Integrate front-end applications with secure back-end services and databases.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable full-stack solutions.
- Participate in cloud-native architecture, microservices, and event-driven design sessions.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deploy and maintain applications in AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Apply secure coding practices, participate in peer code reviews, and troubleshoot issues across the technology stack.
- Conduct impact analysis, regression testing, readiness reviews, production validation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide estimates, documentation, status updates, and application changes in accordance with change management processes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with system owners, UX designers, cloud engineers, testers, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of relevant experience, or nine years of applicable professional experience in lieu of a degree.
- Full-stack development experience with Java and React.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and modern SDLC practices.
- Strong problem-solving ability across the application stack.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services, including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, and S3.
- Preferred familiarity with OAuth2/OIDC, SSO, Okta, Entra ID, or other identity providers.
- Preferred experience with Drupal, automated testing frameworks, and Terraform.
