Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and ship production multi-agent systems with orchestration, tool use, planning loops, memory, and failure recovery.
- Build agents grounded in ServiceNow enterprise data through CMDB, Workflow Data Fabric, and Knowledge Graph.
- Develop trust, safety, governance, observability, and human-in-the-loop controls for autonomous systems.
- Build and improve RAG pipelines, hybrid search, re-ranking, and retrieval evaluation.
- Integrate and evaluate Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI models across cost, latency, and capability trade-offs.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture decisions, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering quality standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong data structures, algorithms, and distributed-systems fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience designing, shipping, and operating production agentic systems, including multi-agent orchestration, tool calling, planning loops, memory, and failure recovery.
- Production-grade Python experience.
- Working experience with Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI AI SDKs, including prompt engineering, structured outputs, and production model evaluation.
- Production experience with RAG and retrieval patterns, vector stores, hybrid search, and retrieval evaluation metrics.
- Track record of technical leadership through architecture ownership, code-quality improvements, and mentoring engineers.
- Go, Java, or C++ experience is a plus.
- Deeper specialization in search and retrieval at scale or MLOps/model observability is preferred.
- Published work or open-source contributions in agentic systems or retrieval is preferred.
- Production exposure to LLM fine-tuning or inference optimization is preferred.
