Base Salary
$151k - $241k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with scientists and product managers to build proof-of-concepts for future Axon products
- Develop secure and privacy-preserving solutions that enable continuous improvement of AI models
- Architect platforms that accelerate AI research and product development
- Collaborate with scientists to architect and implement state-of-the-art training techniques
- Support machine learning model training, evaluation, testing, and deployment on Axon devices and cloud
- Promote ethical and responsible AI development standards
- Communicate and collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, or an equivalent highly technical field
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Proven track record of successfully deploying AI models to the cloud
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and cloud architecture
- Proficiency in Python and C++
- Familiarity with TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux
- Strong problem-solving, system architecture, and software design skills
- Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant technical field preferred
- Preferred experience with LLMOps, including evaluation, monitoring, quantization, and teacher-learner techniques
- Preferred hands-on experience fine-tuning large-parameter models
- Familiarity with model encryption and privacy-preserving AI techniques preferred
