Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize machine learning and deep learning algorithms for complex business problems.
- Construct, train, evaluate, and optimize AI models, including neural networks and decision trees.
- Perform data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering, and coordinate data labeling activities.
- Integrate algorithm models into business systems and support product implementation.
- Research and implement audio and video algorithms for target detection, feature extraction, tracking, and recognition in surveillance and monitoring applications.
- Maintain documentation of algorithms, experiments, and workflows, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Pattern Recognition, Artificial Intelligence, Automatic Control, Operations Research, Biology, Physics, Quantum Computing, Neuroscience, Statistics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with common machine learning and deep learning algorithms and current state-of-the-art implementations.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++, with proficiency in mathematical and statistical concepts.
- Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning frameworks such as Caffe, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and MxNet.
- Project experience with machine learning and deep learning models including CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer, and ViT.
- Experience designing, tuning, and optimizing neural network models is preferred.
- Experience with model compression and deep learning inference transplantation and optimization across mobile and server platforms is preferred.
- Strong logical thinking, problem-solving ability, independent ownership of complex research problems, and teamwork.
