Responsibilities

  • Define roadmaps and architecture based on technology and business needs.
  • Drive AI innovation for business analytics and operations.
  • Design, write, test, review, and maintain readable, high-quality software.
  • Lead projects from idea through successful execution while considering business context and failure modes.
  • Participate proactively in resolving ongoing incidents.
  • Coordinate across teams, communicate effectively, unblock others, and obtain stakeholder buy-in.
  • Share knowledge through brown bags, technical talks, and engineering best-practice advocacy.

Requirements

  • At least five years of software engineering industry experience using a high-level programming language.
  • Bonus experience with Python or Go.
  • Experience with AI topics including agentic workflows, model evaluation, causal models, and anomaly detection.
  • Experience defining API schemas and developing backend services in a microservices environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly, solve poorly defined problems, communicate effectively, advocate for proposals, and support fellow engineers.
