Base Salary
$185k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build zero-to-one AI product experiences from early concept through prototype, validation, and productionization.
- Collaborate with users, product managers, designers, researchers, engineers, and customer-facing teams to identify high-impact opportunities.
- Translate ambiguous customer needs and product ideas into workflows, interfaces, and technical designs.
- Build and improve AI agent development, testing, evaluation, monitoring, and optimization workflows.
- Use product data, user feedback, and evaluation results to identify what is working and what needs improvement.
- Create demos, product notes, technical documentation, and recommendations to align teams and accelerate execution.
- Help define the product and technical standards for AI-native experiences at Cresta.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience as a software or ML engineer on user-facing systems.
- Strong full-stack engineering skills and experience shipping products or major features with significant end-to-end ownership.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, AI workflows, or applied ML products.
- Strong product judgment and ability to simplify complex technical ideas into intuitive user experiences.
- Ability to work in ambiguous problem spaces and move quickly from ideas to prototypes while maintaining engineering rigor.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to cross-functional audiences.
- Experience designing and building evaluation and testing frameworks for machine learning systems is a bonus.
- Practical experience with user research, instrumentation, metrics, and evaluation is a bonus.
- Previous startup or fast-paced product experience is a bonus.
