Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end from database and data model design through Python services and React interfaces.
- Build accessible, high-performance interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Design, build, and operate Python backend services with MongoDB and Redis for storage and caching.
- Design and maintain APIs, including versioning, documentation, testing, security, and client-server contracts.
- Develop and manage message queue systems for real-time data processing.
- Shape scalable cloud infrastructure and build systems that remain reliable under load.
- Partner with product, design, and AI engineers to ship, measure, and iterate on clinician workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with production work across frontend and backend systems.
- Strong React and TypeScript skills, plus Next.js or a comparable framework and knowledge of rendering performance, state management, and accessibility.
- Production experience building, testing, and operating Python backend services.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Redis, data modeling, and design trade-offs.
- Experience building and managing message queue systems at scale.
- Deep understanding of API design, including security, versioning, performance, and client-server contracts.
- Application and data security knowledge, experience integrating third-party systems, and familiarity with source control and CI/CD pipelines.
- A track record of building scalable, reliable systems that withstand security scrutiny.
- Hands-on AI building, prototyping, or side-project experience.
- Strong communication, judgment, ownership, and a bias toward building.
