Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for next-generation embedded system security solutions.
- Work as a member of a cross-functional engineering team on defense and security-focused systems.
- Apply technical standards and methodologies to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Provide technical leadership, communicate concepts effectively, and help position teammates for success.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Current Department of Defense Secret clearance or higher at the time of hire.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for access to classified information.
- Knowledge of C in embedded environments, including bare-metal software, memory-map interfacing, SPI/QSPI, UART, I2C, JTAG remote debugging, and PTP.
- Experience developing against or within an FPGA, including Polarfire, Versal, or Kintex Ultrascale platforms.
- Experience with model-based systems engineering, SysML, Magic Draw, and software design within an MBSE initiative.
- Knowledge of GitLab, runner definition, code coverage, and static code analysis tools such as Parasoft and CppCheck.
- Extensive knowledge of network protocols, including RSTP, VLAN, PTP, auto-negotiation, and link training.
- Knowledge of anti-tamper and security concepts, along with strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
