Base Salary
$154k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop next-generation embedded system security software as part of a cross-functional team.
- Build bare-metal software without an operating system, including memory map interfacing and communication-bus integration.
- Develop software against or within FPGA systems and work with embedded networking protocols.
- Apply MBSE/SysML, software design, technical standards, and methodologies to solve engineering challenges.
- Provide technical leadership, collaborate across teams, and identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related STEM field plus at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Current Department of Defense Secret security clearance or higher at the time of hire.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to access classified information are required.
- Knowledge of C in embedded environments, bare-metal software, memory map interfacing, SPI/QSPI, UART, I2C, JTAG, PTP, FPGA development, and network protocols is preferred.
- Experience with MBSE/SysML, Magic Draw, GitLab runners, Parasoft or CppCheck, RSTP, VLAN, auto-negotiation, and link training is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, technical leadership, and ongoing professional development skills.
